Kept looks after homes for people who value their privacy. We collect the least we can, we don’t sell it, and we don’t track you around the internet.
What you give us
The consultation form on this site asks for a first and last name and an email address, with optional fields for a phone number, your community, and anything you’d like us to know. We use these to reply to you and to prepare for a conversation about your home, nothing else.
What we record automatically
When you submit a form we store the time, the page you came from, and your browser’s user-agent string, which helps us tell real inquiries from automated ones.
We do not store your IP address. We store a one-way cryptographic hash of it, salted with a secret we hold. That lets us rate-limit abuse without keeping anything that identifies your location or connection.
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a first-party referral cookie (kept_ref), and only when you arrive through a partner introduction or a gift link, so we know who introduced you. We count visits with a cookieless analytics service that shows us traffic in aggregate: how many people visited, which pages, and roughly where from. It does not identify you, and we could not pick you out of it if we tried.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process your information only to provide their service to us:
- Vercel handles hosting and delivery of this website, and the cookieless visit counting described above.
- Supabase is the database where inquiries are stored.
- Resend emails us when an inquiry comes in.
- Twilio sends us a text message when an inquiry comes in. It carries your name and contact details to us; it never messages you.
- Cal.com applies only if you choose to book a time. The booking is made with Cal.com directly and is covered by their own privacy policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we might reasonably still be in conversation with you, and delete them when we no longer have a business reason to hold them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices
Write to us at hello@kepthouse.co and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to make these requests; we honor them either way, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is meant for adults inquiring about home care. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
